Shawn Huston is the Broker and third-generation Owner of Huston Real Estate, proudly continuing a family legacy of trusted service that began decades ago in Lewiston. With a career shaped by extensive industry knowledge, advanced professional training, and deep community involvement, Shawn is committed to providing a seamless and professional real estate experience for every client.
A licensed real estate professional since 1992 and a licensed broker since 1995, Shawn took ownership of the family business in 2000. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Small Business Management and an Associate Degree in Real Estate from Ferris State University, along with specialized industry designations such as Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS). These qualifications support his ability to guide sellers with expertise, strategy, and confidence.
Known for his hands-on approach, Shawn oversees all aspects of the listing and selling process—from pricing strategy and market positioning to offer negotiations and contract oversight. His leadership ensures that each transaction is managed with accuracy, communication, and proactive attention to detail, reflecting Huston Real Estate’s commitment to integrity and exceptional client care.
Shawn has also served the real estate industry in numerous leadership roles, including President of the Water Wonderland MLS Board, member of the Michigan REALTORS® Public Policy Committee, and past member of the State of Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. His long-standing service on these boards underscores his dedication to professional excellence and industry standards.
As a lifelong resident of Lewiston, Shawn is actively involved in supporting local initiatives. He serves as Chairperson of the Lewiston Downtown Development Authority and is a committed member of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce.
