About This Week’s Hiding Spot
Every morning at 4:00 AM, the bakers at The Villager Restaurant begin preparing 13 different flavors of fresh bread. By the time breakfast hits the table, the shelves are fully stocked and the aroma fills the dining room. Fresh slices are served with every meal, and guests can even purchase a whole loaf to take home.
The Villager is exactly the kind of place that makes Lewiston, Atlanta, Johannesburg, and the Up North region so special — a local institution where quality, warmth, and community come together every single day.
And Hughie? Well, he has excellent taste. Warm bread. Small-town charm. The best seat in the house. Who could blame him for settling in on that shelf and watching the morning unfold?
