Kicking off the "Welcome to Lewiston" series is a town highlight. Showing attractions, recreation activities, clubs, lakes, trails, and our downtown area. We start off with Garland Resort, an award winning Lewiston Michigan hotel. Garland is home to 4 Championship golf courses and high class dining and lodging.
Lewiston is also home to several parks. The Buttles Road Park and disc golf course, Bingham Little League park, and Albert Townwship Beach. The beach park offers a play place for children, and the ability to put your kayaks in the water to explore East Twin Lake! All located just minutes from downtown!
Speaking of lakes, Lewiston is home to 22 lakes, supporting all water-based recreational sports! Some of the most popular lakes being: East and West Twin Lake, Snyder Lake, Big Bear Lake, Little Wolf Lake, Snyder Lake, Moon Lake, and Tee Lake.
If you're into two tracking in Michigan, we also are home to All-Season ORV trails that you can ride in both summer and winter! These trails are color-coded, distinguishing which trails are for whom! Showing two wheel only, four wheel vehicles only, as well as those vehicles with no wheels at all!
And finally, bringing it all back to our beautiful downtown area. Home to some local favorite eateries like Talley's Log Cabin Bar, The Lewiston Lodge, The Lewiston Hotel, and The Pour house. With a freshly renovated Farmers Market, open every Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm, you can also bring home some wonderful locally grown food. Rounding out downtown are our recreation leagues for bowling and curling, making Lewiston a one stop shop for fun in Northern Michigan!
